Our flight calculator is based on the UK’s aviation emissions divided by the number of flights in each category. Given that any individual flight is impossible to quantify without knowing the type of aircraft the prevailing weather and the number of empty seats in each direction it is probably of greater accuracy than calculators that purport to calculate the exact emissions between two airports.
